Todd Lineberger (Private Drum Instructor

Todd’s love of music began at age four when his parents gave him his first snare drum.  By sixth grade, he had learned to read music and continued to develop his skills throughout high school where he was the only drummer in his hometown to audition and receive an invitation to play with the statewide Honors Band.

While attending Tennessee Tech University, Todd played drum set and percussion with the world renowned Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble directed by Winston Morris.  As a member of the ensemble, he performed at Preservation Hall and Carnegie Hall.  Upon transferring to The University of Tennessee, he completed his coursework in music with an emphasis on performance.  He was member of both the "Pride of the Southland Band" and the University Symphony Orchestra.  His love of teaching began in college when he was an instructor for various high school drum lines at band camps and taught private lessons.

In 1987, Todd moved to Nashville to pursue a career in the music business. For ten years, he toured nationally with major recording artists on Atlantic Records and Epic Records.  While working for Hallmark Direction Company, Todd played recording sessions for artists with Polygram Music and other publishing companies. For eight years, Todd was the principal drummer for the Living Room contemporary worship service at First Baptist Church Hendersonville.

Perhaps what is most rewarding to Todd is helping students experience the joy of music, no matter what age or skill level.  For five years, he was the drum set and percussion teacher for the School of Fine Arts at First Baptist Church Hendersonville.  Currently, he plays in the worship service at Life Community Church, and continues to play with other local musicians on a variety of projects.  Music is Todd's ministry, and he is thankful that God blessed him with the opportunity to share His love through music.

Jaclyn Lisenby Brown (Summer 2016 Theatre Camp Teacher) is thrilled to work with these fabulous young singers and actors for Limelight's summer theatre camp! She also sings in the recording studio for clients such as LifeWay Baptist, The Methodist Publishing House, and countless songwriter demos. She recently recorded vocals for Lady Antebellum’s Christmas album and PBS’ Mother Goose Club. She has two little singers of her own: Jasper, age 4 and Jemma, age 1. Her favorite songs are “Yesterday” by Paul McCartney and whatever she wrote this morning.
